On last
Thursday afternoon at 3:45 P.M. the interview was held in the classroom number
W105, the interviewers were Mr. Hedley Butterfield, Mr. Othman Marzooqi and
Ahmed Mansouri, and they were interviewing Mr. Ahmed Alshehhi.
The interview started with Mr. Hedley
asking Mr. Ahmed to introduce himself, he’s 34 years old, a married man without
kids living in an apartment in Corniche Street in front of the sea view. Ahmed
started his career in 1996 and graduated with a diploma degree in business in
2000.
Mr. Othman started asking questions with what
is your greatest strength? Mr. Ahmed
answered, “I have a great experience in all situations and departments; I
worked in many banks like ADIB(Abu dhabi Islamic Bank), ADCB(Abu dhabi
Commercial Bank) and I could survive working in Etisalat for 7 years and that is a miracle”; when he started
working he was a normal employee dealing with customers most of the time which
helped him to gain an awesome experience dealing with tough customers and then
he used this experience with higher positions as the senior manager in the main
branch in ADIB.
Another question was asked by the interviewer
Mr. Ahmed Mansouri to Mr. Ahmed Shehhi. Why should we hire you? Straightaway with confidence he answered “I
have a long experience and currently Iam the senior manager of the main branch
of ADIB; I am creative and I can improve and develop many functions, departments
and help other employees to be more creative and helpful for your company which
will get this company to a higher level.
After a moment of silence the interviewers
asked Mr. Ahmed Alshehhi if he had questions for them. Mr. Ahmed asked about
the position he will hold and what salary will he take. They answered that they
will let him manage a department and see how he could improve in their company.
They asked what salary he expected and he said not less than 70% of my current
salary.
